Job Description:
As Flagship’s first analytics recruit, you will be essential in establishing the metrics approach, data environment, and customer value measurement. The analytics layer that guides decisions in product, data science, engineering, customer success, and sales will be built by you.
Additionally, you will serve as a strategic partner, assisting each department in becoming more data-driven while guaranteeing reporting accuracy and consistency. This is a high-impact role that affects every aspect of the company, not simply operational analytics.
To reduce waste, reduce stress, and improve online retail for independent businesses, the company is seeking someone enthusiastic about working across disciplines, at ease with uncertainty, and passionate about creating products that deliver quantifiable value for customers.
Responsibilities of the Analytics Lead:
- Manage all aspects of analytics at Flagship RTL, from infrastructure to useful insights.
- Create and execute scalable data models and metric definitions to enable business and product teams.
- Work together with the Product and Data Science teams to guarantee statistical rigor in experiments and do exploratory data analysis.
- Create analytics frameworks for fundamental inquiries like regional sales pattern correlations and the best degrees of prediction.
- Create dashboards that demonstrate to internal stakeholders and customers the impact of your products.
- Make data-driven decision-making accessible by enabling self-serve analytics for many teams.
- Collaborate with data engineers to provide effective tools and analytics-ready data pipelines.
Requirements:
- Four to seven years of data science or analytics experience, ideally at venture-backed firms.
- Solid statistical background, including proficiency in significance testing and exploratory data analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL and practical knowledge of contemporary data platforms, such as Snowflake, Google Big Query, and DBT.
- Experience developing analytics environments and collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and product managers across functional boundaries.
- Excellent communication abilities, able to explain analytical results to audiences that are both technical and non-technical.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced settings where contexts change frequently.

Skills(Bonus):
The ideal candidate needs to possess the following skills:
- Proficiency with Python for in-depth data analysis, experimentation, or model validation is a bonus.
- Knowledge of BI tools, such as Tableau, Looker, Sigma, and Power BI.
- familiarity with demand forecasting, supply chain analytics, or clothing manufacturing (e.g., PFD, greige products).
