The selected candidate will be in charge of providing complete assistance to employees with their PF accounts and ensuring that all work complies with the legal requirements about the Employee Provident Fund (EPF). The role involves accurate and current records of employee contributions, interest earned, and withdrawals related to the Provident Fund (PF) that must be maintained.  To guarantee seamless operations and convenient access when required, it is critical to keep thorough and well-organized records.
The candidate is responsible for making sure that all actions correspond to the rules set forth by the Employee Provident Fund (EPF) and any applicable legislation. Additionally, they must keep ahead of any modifications to statutory laws and ensure that the company’s procedures are modified appropriately. An essential component of this position will be effectively managing PF claims. This involves overseeing withdrawals, transfers, and final payments in close coordination with the internal PF trust or HR department to guarantee accurate and timely processing.

The duties will also include answering questions from staff members on their PF accounts. To help employees better grasp their PF benefits, the assistant manager should be able to give them information that is easy to understand and useful.  The position also includes creating and delivering reports regularly to senior management and other legislative bodies that may be necessary. These reports will show adherence to legal requirements and contribute to transparency.

During Provident Fund audits, the Assistant Manager will work in parallel with both internal and external auditors. They will answer any queries or concerns brought up by the auditors and help to ensure that audit procedures run smoothly. This position also includes assisting in the creation and enhancement of policies pertaining to statutory compliance and employee benefits. The assistant manager is responsible for making sure that all policies adhere to the most recent legal standards.

To ensure that payroll is done accurately and on schedule, strong collaboration with HR will be required. The Assistant Manager will be in charge of locating and promptly addressing any discrepancies that may arise. Lastly, the assistant manager will help with bank account establishment for staff members. To expedite and improve the efficiency of payroll delivery, they will make sure that all accounts are correctly connected to the company’s chosen banks.
