Although candidates with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering can apply, the position needs a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related discipline. Strong knowledge and research experience in one or more biomedical engineering domains, such as biomaterials, biomechanics, medical instrumentation, tissue engineering, or related topics, are essential for the ideal applicant. A minimum of two publications, one in a W category and the other in an X category HEC/PEC accredited journal are also required of candidates for the Assistant Professor position.

About Riphah International University:
The Federal Government of Pakistan authorized the private Riphah International University in Islamabad in 2002. To produce professionals with Islamic moral and ethical values, the university was founded. It is supported by the Islamic International Medical College Trust (IIMCT), a non-profit organization that was established in 1995. The Islamic International Medical College in Rawalpindi was the IIMCT’s inaugural initiative. It was founded in 1996 by Maj. Gen. (Retd.)
